This Land Rover Defender 110 presents as an excellent driver-condition vehicle and is well upgraded mechanically. The undercarriage and bodywork show little corrosion and over all the Defender is in excellent condition. This Defender has been the subject of a full drivetrain switch utilizing a modern and more robust Cummins diesel engine and Tremec five speed gearbox that is professionally matched for optimal operation, and also expertly installed by a Specialist Rover facility. All follow-up maintenance and checks have been adhered to and proper break-in procedure was followed to ensure a long and reliable mechanical life. Specific review reveals no evidence of crash or structural damage. All trim and badging are present and are in very good to excellent condition. The main drivetrain components, engine, gearbox, transfer case, and drive axles seem to be in excellent working order and should require no maintenance in the near future. The Interior appears in excellent condition with little wear showing overall and is clean and it is apparent that it has been very well kept. Front and rear seats are covered with fitted aftermarket covers in matching colors. Gauges and instrument panel function as they should with pertinent upgrades per the mechanical upgrades to the drivetrain, switches, and operational items are excellent, and interior lighting functions properly. All glass is present and with no damage, and roll-up windows and locks work as they should. Doors open and close normally for the model and with no evidence of leakage. The Utility cargo area is in a similar condition to the rest of the vehicle and includes an upgraded spare wheel and tire mounted behind the cab. The body tailgate works as it should and seals well. All glass and structural components are in very good condition. Mechanical service and maintenance appear to have been performed as scheduled and to high standards, with very little required after the rebuild and upgrades, owing to the low mileage and lack of heavy off-road usage. Any service has been performed by marque specialists and reputable providers for typical wear items. The Rover starts and settles to a smooth idle, with normal light smoke typical of diesel engines, and shows normal temperatures and levels to all fluids in all types of driving.
